When speaking of media we talk about TV, ads and usually anything that really shows the product to the consumer. In TV commercials Coca-Cola is shown as being fresh, cool and bringing happiness. These things appeal to the customer and help on developing Coca-cola’s image.

Ads usually show the bottle of coke being enjoyed by a group of people, either friends or family and really make the consumer relate to the situations being portrayed. By doing this, the consumer relates the scene or situation to the product, making an image for the product once again. This image is that of enjoying and sharing something special with those we love, in this case that “something is Coca-cola.

So, in conclusion the media shows the consumer what he or she can relate to in order to create an image for the product being sold.
